YA Indie Spotlight: Sarah Woodbury

Hi Everyone!

It's time for another Indie Spotlight! Today I'm thrilled to introduce Sarah Woodbury. Sarah's latest YA indie novel is a historical fantasy called Footsteps in Time: A Time Travel Fantasy.

SUMMARY
In December of 1282, English soldiers ambushed and murdered Llywelyn ap Gruffydd, the Prince of Wales.  His death marked the end of Wales as an independent nation and the beginning of over seven hundred years of English oppression.

Footsteps in Time is the story of what might have happened had Llywelyn lived.

And what happens to the two American teenagers who save him.

RATING: PG-13 because of sword/thematic violence.  (Authors Note: Maybe.  My 19 year old daughter says it's PG.)

ABOUT SARAH
With two historian parents, Sarah couldn’t help but develop an interest in the past. She went on to get more than enough education herself (in anthropology) and began writing fiction when the stories in her head overflowed and demanded she let them out.  Her interest in Wales stems from her own ancestry and the year she lived in England when she fell in love with the country, language, and people. She even convinced her husband to give all four of their children Welsh names.

She makes her home in Oregon.   Her blog about Dark Age and Medieval Wales can be found at: www.sarahwoodbury.com

(HIJACK!!) Okay, I'm hijacking this spotlight for a second to tell you that you must check out Sarah's webpage. She has an insane amount of information about the Middle Ages there (everything from mortality rates to literacy and language to geography). . . . Dudes, it's crazy. If you write fiction set in the Middle Ages, you need this website. For those of us who don't write historical fiction and are just information junkies (read: nerds), well, go ahead and block off a good chunk of your day, because you won't want to leave.

Footsteps in Time is available at:

For Nook
And Kindle

I'm seeing mostly four and five star reviews for this novel, and it's priced at $.99. Can't beat that!

Also, be sure to check out Sarah's other books: The Last Pendragon, Prince of Time, and Daughter of Time.
