Being indie is about being true to yourself and your story. It's about owning your characters and the choices they make.
It's not about re-writing an ms every time a new agent rejection comes in. Or changing the ending (again) because it doesn't speak to this editor or that one. It's about telling the story you feel compelled to tell.
Not that feedback isn't a good thing, but there's this saying:

You will never be able to please everybody, so make sure you're happy, first.
