Indie Life: Letting Go

After you hit "publish," sending your story out in the world, it's important to let it go. Don't stress about reviews; don't worry about how the world will take it--if it will be accepted. Turn your attention to that next project.

Those reviews will only drive you crazy. Rankings and sales data--the daily ups and downs and highs and lows--will only make you nauseous.

Get your story written, make it the best it can possibly be, publish it, then leave it alone.

Because you never know which story will "hit," or when a story's "time" will come.

Indie = Letting Go and Looking Forward

Because being Indie doesn't have to mean going it alone.
